Protection that scales
with what's at stake.

Every vessel carries a different risk profile. Every owner has different expectations. Every management company operates under different pressures. Our programme is built around that reality.

Network and systems monitoring

Most vessels have been connected, configured and handed over by contractors who no longer have visibility of what they left behind. CyberPlus verifies what is actually in place, whether it is sufficient, and whether it is doing what it is supposed to do. We then monitor it continuously. Every network. Every system. Around the clock.
Supports IACS UR E26/E27 IEC 62443 IMO Guidelines

Independent verification and penetration testing

Knowing your systems are secure is not the same as proving it. We test every entry point an attacker would use, find what they would find, and close it before they do. What remains is a vessel you can trust.
Satisfies IACS UR E26/E27 IASME MCB Class

Newbuild and refit programme oversight

A newbuild spans years. Dozens of organisations handle your most sensitive information long before a single piece of steel is cut. We provide independent oversight of the entire programme, from first signature to handover, across the build, the vessel and your personal privacy. One continuous programme. No gaps.
Covers IACS UR E26/E27 IASME MCB IMO Guidelines

Incident investigation and insurance defence

When something goes wrong at sea, the question of whether a cyber failure caused it has immediate consequences for coverage. We establish the facts. Quickly and independently. The kind of findings that insurers and courts can act on.
Relevant to LMA 5403 H&M LMAA

Principal, family and reputational protection

Your vessel is private. Your movements, your guests, your conversations should stay that way. We monitor continuously for anything that should not be out there, and we act on it before it becomes a problem. For principals whose world extends beyond the vessel, that protection travels with them.

The IASME Maritime Cyber Baseline

The standard exists because we built it.

The IASME Maritime Cyber Baseline is the internationally recognised framework against which maritime cyber resilience is assessed. Developed by the founders of CyberPlus. Endorsed by the Royal Institution of Naval Architects. When a flag state inspector, P&I correspondent or hull underwriter assesses your cyber posture, the framework they are working from is ours.

Newbuild and Refit

The threat begins
before the build does.

Your identity as owner is exposed from the moment the first NDA is signed. Long before a single piece of steel is cut.

Most cyber programmes on newbuild projects arrive late, cover the vessel in isolation, and leave the moment of handover as the first moment of real protection. CyberPlus begins at the beginning. We treat the build, the vessel and the owner as one environment, under independent oversight, from first engagement through to delivery and into operation.

Speak to our specialists

The project is the first attack surface.

Your ownership structure, your design intent and your financial arrangements are in circulation years before delivery. We secure the information perimeter before anyone else thinks to.

The vessel arrives with vulnerabilities embedded.

Every vendor, every system, every remote access session during the build is a potential entry point. We verify and sign off independently. Not the shipyard. Not the integrator. Us.

The owner is the ultimate target.

Everything else on this programme exists to protect one person. We assess your personal threat profile first, because it determines everything that follows.

Charter Security

Every new charter
brings new threats.

Commercial operation introduces a category of risk that private ownership does not. Variable crew. Transient guests. Unvetted devices. Systems that are never designed to handle any of them.

Owners and guests are high-value targets. Personal devices, guest networks and shared media systems can expose confidential communications, private conduct and real-time location. Not as a theoretical risk. As a documented pattern.

Transient crews amplify this with varying standards of cyber hygiene and persistent shared network exposure.

CyberPlus secures the operational continuity that charter programmes require and the personal protection that principals demand. A single managed programme, running across every chartered yacht in the fleet, every season.

The Charter Threat Cycle
What changes with every season. What does not.
  • 01
    Credential decay across rotating crew
Each rotation introduces new access credentials, inherited permissions and overlooked deprovisioning. Old access persists. New access arrives unsupervised.
  • 02
    Unvetted devices on shared infrastructure
Guest devices connect to the same networks that carry navigational and operational data. There is no segregation. There is no monitoring. There is no record of what was there.
  • 03
Physical data interception at high footfall
AV systems, entertainment networks and satellite terminals are access points. Charter guests pass through all of them. Most captains have no visibility of what that means.
  • 04
Owner and principal exposure between charters
The owner's devices, communications and location data share infrastructure with the charter operation. The boundary between private and commercial is rarely enforced.

Established Authority

We didn't enter this industry.
We helped define it.

CyberPlus was founded by people who write the standards, not just work within them. Our founders authored the IASME Maritime Cyber Baseline, now the internationally recognised benchmark for maritime cybersecurity, formally endorsed by the Royal Institution of Naval Architects. We built it because the sector lacked a clear, actionable framework. It has since become the reference every other provider is measured against.

That same rigour is what the superyacht industry has come to expect from us.

Why it matters
The threats are invisible. The consequences are not.
01
Financial

Ransomware and fraud escalate quietly. By the time anyone notices, the damage is done.

02
Privacy

Intrusion exposes movements and conversations never meant to leave the vessel.

03
Operational

Navigation and safety systems move from isolated to vulnerable with a single point of entry.

Navigating today's shifting regulatory and insurance landscape doesn't have to be a guessing game. The CyberPlus Maritime Matrix decodes every relevant mandate, from IACS UR E26/E27 to LMA 5403, in a single, unified reference for captains and family offices.
